Which is what all the "ooo, shiny!!!" tech-spurts found last year when the RTX GPU's came out and they learned that little or no software supported it, and in fact it was the rare graphics software problem that COULD take advantage of the specific hardware configurations. I lost interest in the RTX cards earlier this year when it became apparent that only a certain type of raytracing problem really benefited from all that. And my $1,200 RTX card has been sitting in a box ever since. |
