If you have something in your mouth, don't click this.

"You are looking at a used oscilloscope probe.  The probe is in working condition."

Enjoy!

I put the title "...eBay listings."

I am laughing at the eBay listing practices. The seller said "You are looking at a used oscilloscope probe.  The probe is in working condition." To me at best he is misrepresenting the item. But then the sell has 100% positive feedback with these kind of listings.

If someone posted here asking he can use a pulser as a oscilloscope probe, definitely I would say NO. No laugh.

Hope this help you see where I am coming from.

For those of you who is not familiar with this ancient logic pulser, I attached a page from the manual.

Ah, so the tape is not the part of the product?  :-//

Anyway, someone bought it already.
Which, frankly, is the whole point of selling on Ebay, no?

  • Why shouldn't we question everything?

Bing! Bought it.

Thanks for the tip. Yes, it's amusing the seller has no clue what it is. But I do - it's a model I don't have in my collection of early HP logic service tools, and it's just $8. That messy tape will clean off. Easy choice.

Edit: To be fair, as the item listing heading is correct (logic probe), the seller probably does know what it is. His 'oscilloscope probe' in the description is probably just a mistake from reusing another listing text.
Not important though. Can't complain at that price. I also bought a 10525H of his in another listing.

Yes, it's just $8. Probably work good as a pulser.

Yes, the seller deserves your positive feedback :-DD

He just listed another one with $8 or best offer.
