OT: toy manufacturer logo
« on: April 29, 2019, 02:29:58 am »
It's for a little plastic tiger figurine about 4cm long. I don't know where it came from and I want to buy more.

Anyone recognize the logo?

Now this might be a stupid question, but why are you asking this on an EE forum and not something related to toys?

Just a thought.
I forget who I am sometimes, but then I remember that it's probably not worth remembering.

Just 3d-scan it, then print it on a 3d printer... Or find something similar: https://www.thingiverse.com/tag:tiger

I'm always amazed by the problems people on internet can solve. I tried reverse image search of the logo and some logo ID services with no luck, but apparently there is always someody with the right answer.

Some of us are a mine of useless information, and I count myself amongst the ranks. Remember those West Indian steel bands that play on beaten out oil drums? I managed to find one after a friend proposed marriage on a Caribbean vacation and he wanted one of the bands at his wedding.

I sometimes enjoy spending some time on this type of challenge and I have to confess I did spend some time on this one but with no luck this time. Other times I do get lucky and it is a satisfaction.

Those steel pans are cool. It's amazing how trash like old rusty oil-drums can be transformed into a beautiful sounding instrument through some ingenuity and skilled work.
