Foxxz:
This is a great electronics forum. Are there any others you visit regularly? I am personally interested in FPGA focused forums.

Since my interests do not align with yours, I have no suggestions.  My interests are analog, especially older equipment, and test gear and amateur radio.

I used to regularly visit https://www.electronics-lab.com/ and https://www.electro-tech-online.com/ which both cater more for hobyist, more than professional people.

Electronics lab used ot be half decent, until a bad moderator, who wouldn't allow critisim of any of the flaws in the projects posted there, put all the experianced people off visiting. I carried on for a bit, but it was just dead.

Electro tech online, also had problems poor moderation. Lazy students kept asking for people to do complete projects for them. Eventually people, like me got fed up and told them to bugger off and would face disaplinary action from the overly sensitive moderator, who would take the lazy student's side. In the end I told the moderator what I thought of him and got banned. It wasn't just me. Plenty of others left that place, to come here.

Now I don't visit any other forums, than this one.

It's a bit of a backhanded compliment to this forum to suggest that experienced professionals can tell lazy students to bugger off and not have some overly sensitive moderator interfere. But hey, if you've found a place with tolerant moderators I suppose good for you. That's probably partly an explanation of why this place attracts the professional audience. Of which I'm not one.

Conversely people can be a bit grouchy here.  But it's still miles better than many subreddits!  Or bug trackers, for that matter.

I do dip my toes into some other forums, but none of them are electronics related.  EEVblog is probably a bit wider than "pure" electronics in some ways, but I guess that's the nature of practical electronics to begin with: "the glue code between software and the world".
