Padded Envolope from South Africa - Stamp Collection

Ridiculous haha, thank you very much SeanB for sending me a SCSI cable!
It's 28.80R (south African currency) worth of stamps, about 3 dollars Canadian, or according to Mr. SeanB himself: The price of lunch.

Stamps were the post office. The cable itself was from a old Phillips rack mount server ( who knew Phillips was into servers at one time) that was taken out as too slow. Two Pentium 133 processors on a dual processor card ( I still have the card) and a shed load of DIMM modules on the main board. I did plug in a monitor and turn it on before taking it apart, and it booted to Redhat 6 server. This was the one SCSI cable connecting the SCSI CDROM drive to the board. The other side had a daisy chain of 2 1G IBM Deathstars , a full height 2G Seagate drive and a DAT drive. Power supply had bad caps ( after a decade or more of on 24/7) so I did not feel too bad about scrapping it. Was a pretty heavy unit as well.

Canada or Sackville haha, if Sackville that's surprising, even all of Nova Scotia is pretty isolated.

I'd fly into Halifax and drive up to Monkton, work for a week or two and then head back.

I would slap it in a bigger padded bag and give it to you, but the postage would buy lunch with drinks for a party of 4 at the best hotel in your town. That is just the postage.

Haha no doubt, it would not surprise me.
I wanted to return something I bought from a Chinamen once, postage would have been thirty dollars (it only cost about twenty).
Only the size of a few decks of cards and about the same weight.

Cool . I've never had an envelope with so many stamps on. I have thought about doing that, but haven't got round to it.

I used to live in Toronto, Ontario... back then I always wanted to have a summer house in Nova Scotia, somewhere..alas,  I never got around to it.  All of Nova Scotia is such a nice place, really, but I've never been to Sackville.  I have however been to both Halifax and Moncton, for business.

Now I am in Vancouver and it's just to far to have a summer house there now

But I know where you live.. I'll harass you with postcards now   lol

I received a package from Thailand. I left the envelope on my bedside, turned off the light and noticed the stamp glowed in the dark!

It is my favorite place (of course I have never lived anywhere else). Sackville is pretty boring, it's pretty much a major road with like thirty car places on it and then a giant subdivision. Look at Lower Sackville on google maps and you will see what I mean.
A glowing stamp?! That's awesome.
