Dear Experts

I bought 2 pairs of  these Panasonic NCR 18650GA 3500mAh High Current Lithium Batteries on Jan 2017 and Dec 2017 from a seller below :

https://www.lanplus.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=246

to be used on a headlight below :

The one that I bought on Jan 2017 died on me after 10 months though I am not a heavy users and I am not charging them every day

The one that I bought Dec 2017 died on me yesterday

When I said died I meant not getting charged using different way of charging 1-Using USB car and 2- via a portable charger as in the snapshot below

Is this normal for the life span of the Panasonic NCR 18650GA 3500mAh ?

Thanks

Nitecore charger should be OK. Dunno what your second charger is but it's very easy to kill lithium batteries with crappy charger. Likely internal pressure valve disconnected the battery from positive terminal due to internal pressure build up.

The other is via the headlight itself which has USB charging cables hooked to the flashlight to charge battries

Check what voltage they're being charged to... and what voltage they currently show.

Make sure that you really have a 4.2V charger, since some lion cells are now 4.25V or even 4.35V and chargers for those will quickly kill a 4.2V cell.

I had a battery fail in one of those portable routers way quicker than expected because the charger they put in charged it to 4.23V.

As I wrote, most likely battery was disconnected from positive terminal due to safety pressure valve. So it's open, no current will flow.
