Quarlo Klobrigney:
I write this in total disgust, please excuse the mood.
I am still |O >:D :horse: :palm: :box: about talking to an offshore webhost via the :-DMM who:
1 Could care less about you.
2 Doesn't listen to the question or anything else for that matter.
3 Answers with a totally different answer unrelated to the question.
4 When asked for a supervisor, must do everything to avoid doing just that.
5 When the superwisor arrives on the scene does just the same.
6 Raised my BP to 150/100 (normally 117/70) and has raised my stress to 189%.
7 Never got an answer to the original question just an endless que of me saying I can't hear or understand you. Yes sir that's right.... and silence.
8 I forgot about talks over you repeatedly never hearing the question and then does it again.
There's got to be a better way :horse:
My issue is this:
Can anyone tell me about a wordpress default page location in an existing site, from one of the 3 default folders? Something has changed on their end.
Can anyone tell me of a webhost that supports PHP 7.2 and above that is cheap, can give SSL pages without costly fees?
So thanks for any help on this. I did do many searches, all outdated. And this forum as well.
So to all: :-+ :-+ ;D :D :-+ :-+

Hi,
I've been using Dreamhost ( https://www.dreamhost.com ) for about ten years now and their support team was always excellent to me, even in this weird global situation. They also have a plethora of services just for wordpress but in any case their default shared hosting is more than enough. And ssl is free. I believe I still have some referral codes with discount around.
As for your question about pages location, could you provide more details?
WattsThat:
In the US, Pair Networks is hands down one of, if not, the best hosting service for money, period. Not sure about cheap SSL but their up time, server response time and support is world class.

Well, this doesn't look good for me.
I didn't spend a large amount of time researching web hosts so I looked at Wordpress and Wix where I ultimately went with Wordpress. I am currently in the process of creating my site as we speak.
Did you chose a paid option plan?
Quarlo Klobrigney:
The offender was 1&1 IONOS. They were good before they sold out. I have cut all ties and they still wanted to charge me for re-upping after I cancelled.
