We have all heard of the 'Word', but what does it entail ????
Maybe it's about personal 'Thoughts' about every day 'Life'.......
"Who is right ??", who/what are we to believe ????...
I may make a statement that "I love my wife" (of say 20 years).
However, who/what is it that I say I "Love" now ???....
Over the course of that '20 years' the majority of the 'cells' in her
body have been replaced many times over... some to a lesser degree.
So... WHAT is it that 'we' love about a/that 'Person'.... ???
Lets digress for a moment, and 'talk' about an OLD historical SailingShip
called the 'Athenia'.... Many hundreds of years have passed, and over
those years, small parts of that 'Ship' had deteriorated & needed replacing.
A plank here, a board here, a post or rope here & there... until say 100 years
later the WHOLE 'ship' had been replaced....
Now let's consider that 'ALL' those 'old' parts, in their ENTIRETY, were never
thrown away, but were KEPT... and now were assembled into the original Ship.
What is the 'Original' ship now.... Which one is 'real' ?
This is only a 'Stepping-Stone' to what it is that we 'love' Human wise....

It might seem brutal, but one does not love "the wife" object/being, one loves the "the wife" idea, which is a representation of a real object/being in one's mind.
Not trying to be rude about wives or husbands here, but there is a huge difference between the real world, and our inner representation of the real world.
Other said, it is all in our own minds, and very far from the crude reality.

You might benefit from reading "The Bluffer's Guide to Philosophy". Readily available cheaply on Amazon etc.
