Photo-voltaic window glass

Don't know if this has been posted here before but looks interesting at first blush at least. And to take the next step, would this technology be applicable to other building materials and residential applications.  Like many of the latest and greatest "green" inventions, I wonder if it's actual performance will approach the hype.
