Usually you tend to see entire scan lines destroyed when a laser hits an image sensor. Plenty of photographers at nightclubs end up with lines through their expensive DSLR sensors from the green lasers

Maybe you can share with him all the ways you personally create interest in electronics and make it entertaining. It's kind of hard to tell if you even find it interesting and entertaining yourself.

Hey, the fun police are everywhere these days and they all need a good kick up the arse (that's ass for you Americans).

It seems that whenever they can, the fun police try to rain on other people's parades -- because of some desire to impose their standards for decency, safety or good humour on others.

I've had the same problems with one of my YouTube channels -- we've had our national RC model flying body trying to shut us down for (and I quote) "placing too much emphasis on having fun" -- I kid you not!

So, based solely on what they see on YouTube, they have presented us with a vague list of alleged violations of the rules and the law based on unspecified complaints from anonymous YouTube viewers.

WTF?

Utterly ridiculous.

Unlike a good many of the RC clubs in this country, we've *never* had a single claim on our insurance and never had a single instance of damage to property or person (apart from the models themselves) -- yet a bunch of jumped-up fun police want t to shut us down!

What's more, I've got hundreds of emails from people all over the world who have written to say that they've taken up the hobby solely because they saw how much fun could be had -- from watching this YouTube channel.

Unfortunately - the world seems to be filled with grumpy old men who, just because they're not having any fun, think nobody else ought to either.
