Who would have thought - paper!

The results are quite remarkable, you do need reams of paper though.

Seems a bit wasteful unless they have a way to put in 1/2 size sheets or something like that. But at least the paper is recyclable.

Paper is kinda thick.

I wonder why they didn't think of doing it with scotch tape rolls.. it's already thin film, it's already sticky from factory, it can be cut easily with some laser..

I guess the paper idea was not patented or something like that.

Get a large one of those and use resin glue, and you could print spare panels for a Trabant, or more useful items like Furniture.

The cool thing is that they can also print the paper with an inkjet before cutting/gluing and thus get fully colored 3D prints:
