Poll

You submit a post and get the red "Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post." message. What do you do?

I always read first the new message(s) and adjust response before submitting (or drop it altogether).
I always submit mine anyway without checking.
Sometimes I check first and sometimes I don't.
Never seen such a message.

You craft a long reply, click the Submit button and eevblog comes back to you with a red "Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post" message. What do you do?

You need another one:
I always read first the new message(s) and adjust response before submitting.

Voted 1 since that option was not available.

This is not actually "cross posting".

I changed #1 to your text. (dropping a message is an extreme case of 'adjusting' ;-)).

Sometimes I go check before posting if I think that it may effect my reply. But otherwise I just post if I know my post stands on it's own.

I just submit it and then check the previous post. If I need to change mine quickly, there is always the modify option.

Pretty much this.

...What do you do?

My profile is set to not warn me about that.  Just post it, even if it were another reply in between.  Sometimes, only if it's not clear who's my answer for, I insert a small quoted text with the exact sentence I am replying to.

To disable the warning bugger message, click on this link https://www.eevblog.com/forum/profile/?area=theme and check these two boxes:
  • "Return to topics after posting by default."
  • "Don't warn on new replies made while posting."

It somewhat depends on the OP.
For instance if Treez is the OP, just post anyway  :palm:
And…..Treez will thank you later, no matter what :-DD
