My Oscar was the real deal. I lived in a place that had Norwegian roof rats in the dwelling units. Big suckers.

More than once I came home to find a bit of blood on the floor, a couple paws and a tail and maybe a nose. The rest was ... consumed. (What happened to all those bones?)

So I guess he wasn't leaving me any "treats" there.

My understanding is that cats eat the bones for the bonemarrow inside which is somehow healthy for them. By the sound of it your Oscar was well capable of getting his own fresh dinners.

Only present we get are a couple of loops of intestines, sometimes with stomach attached if we're lucky, and often left under the bottom step of the stairs where you're going to put your foot as you come down in the morning.

We implemented a "face control" rule at the patio door. Not allowed back to the house until someone inspected she was not holding a mouse in her jaws.

The cat we got when I was a teenager would bring back mice into the home (dead and sort-of alive) but was made aware that his throphies where not appreciated quickly.

Hah - this was actually quite painful for us to see. We love the bunnies around the area. Amazing to me he caught it while on a leash, this was actually his second one. Right after this pic was taken he put the bunny down and it managed to run away to live on another day. It seems that while our extensive playing has given him the skills to catch pretty much anything he was never shown how to kill stuff.

I did poke her.  She is alive.  At first she did nothing.  Then she roused and slapped my hand with a claw and curled even tighter and even more upside down.

Further gentle strokes gained no response.

"I'm sleeping!"

However it shows trust that she will continue to sleep like this even if I "poke" her now.

The extremely cute part is... this is on my desk.  There are dozen other more comfortable and warm places to sleep, but she wants to be with me.... snifff.

I went into the living room to watch TV, but found my chair had been stolen for napping. I said "Hay Maxim it's time to get up!" but he didn't seem to care.  :(
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

He seems harmless...

But he has a "dungeon" in one of the window wells where he drops his prey and then watches them run around before he feels hungry enough to finally eat them.

Unfortunately, the preview that Simple Machines forums gives you is a little brain-damaged:
it doesn't show attached pictures at all.
Not sure why, but it's kind of a pain in the ass, as you need to post, then look at the pics to see if they're OK.

That's because the pictures are not uploaded until you hit 'Post', so it can't give a preview.

Well, that could be changed, couldn't it?

Why not?
The only complication I can think of is if the poster changes their mind after composing the post and cancels it (doesn't post it), in which case the attachments may have to be deleted. Just seems like a little extra bookkeeping would be needed.

But I don't actually know the details of PHP and all that.
