This is Luna

[attach=1]

She adopted us a year or so ago and really likes cuddling,  sardines and lasers (i can relate to this one also),  not necessarily in this order.

Also,  in the picture,  she wasn't posing,  she was sleeping like that. Also she's a real nice accessory on my desk, as she matches with my keyboard and display

Looks cute but not a big proponent of providing a cute undomesticated animal and turning them into pets. Aggression, instinctive reaction or even a playful 'swat' and that 'cute' cat would loose it's cuteness.

I was a bit concerned for the guy, until he started speaking Russian.

Man those videos are addictive - thanks for posting the first one.  :)

Here's a feral cat I've been feeding. He comes by every evening. I made a box for him to sleep in. Sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn't.

Takes a lot of work to get 'em back, doesn't it?

I had a full black one I named Matrix. After weeks and weeks I got it to the stage of coming into the house to eat. So long as the door was open. If I tried to shut the door it would bolt. One night, because it was cold, I shut the door by pulling on a bit of string I had set up. The cat went bananas until I let it out. It didn't talk to me for a fortnight.

I can sit next to him now but it took about 2 months. He still hisses at me when I come out because he doesn't know better, but I can walk around behind him and he will keep eating with no worries. We'll see how it goes. He has never lived inside and probably wouldn't want to. Seems OK with his life as it is outside.

I found I have a cat, a little feral that sort of came in the front door and got stuck. No pictures, as it is a little bit camera and human shy, but it does eat nicely, and uses a litter tray, and hides pretty much the rest of the time, but is easy to find, just listen for the hiss. Hoping to win it over to at least tolerate humans.

Problem is I will some time or the other have to do a flea treatment on the cat, and will also have to drive to the vet for the usual shots. Definitely will not like that.

When you have this new puss under some control and can handle it ask your vet to drop in when passing nearby and have the shots administered at your place. Much less stressful for the puss.

Wonderful to see an older cat given a home.

Our prior cat was a abused rescue, became such a loving cat but it took a lot of time (years). Our current cat is a abandoned rescue around 3Yrs (we think). We've had her a year but she's very shy and does like to be by herself most of the time.

I can relate - I have a former feral that I took in when she was about two (vet's estimate).  She'd been a city street cat in New Haven, CT, and must have been beaten or something because she was incredibly timid and cringy when she first came.  Over four years later (she joined the gang in early November of 2015), she's FINALLY coming out of her shell and becoming more at ease and less jumpy.  It's been a long road, but worth the trip.

Yeah  ^-^  I went into the shelter looking to adopt one of the cats that had been there the longest and/or oldest.  Generally, one of the cats that usually gets passed over.   Then my girlfriend and I also fell in love with Merlin... so we had to take both home :D

I'm guessing from the unimpressed look on his face that somehow that scope in the background is reading that cat's mind while he's judging you.  :) Don't worry, I get it all the time from madam.
