It's a Pallas's Cat.

I always thought thats a Manul (Manool).

Just another name for a Pallas's Cat aka Otocolobus manul.

Edit: Beaten to it.
Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

"Sleeping Outside of the Box"

Madam is here modelling a 9" x 9" x 4" Digikey box that recently arrived containing a 50gm Lattice MAX02 development board and a 10gm BNC scope probe adaptor. It's bit like Roseanne Barr trying to fit into a size zero dress.

Madam, you're not a kitten any more, you're over 4 kg!

(Attachment Link)

Now, nearly two months after madam adopted that box, it's still her favourite sleeping place. I haven't the heart to do what I ought to do, tidy up and chuck the empty boxes

I don't think that 'fitting in the box' even makes the top ten list of criteria when it comes to selecting a sleeping spot!

Couple weeks ago someone drop this little fellow to our garden.
Both eyes was closed from infection and the left one was in danger to be lost.

Cute little furball.  Sad how often kittens lose eyes to infections.  Good thoughts inbound for a speedy recovery for your new lab "assistant".   :-+

What kind of milk? The usual one for human beings is not the best at all. There is special milk for cats, have you tried this?
I'd also see a doctor perhaps the poor little furball is suffering from something else.

2 weeks is too young for a kitten to leave its mother...

however, you generally find that you will have to bottle feed until about 5~6 weeks. Then try mixing a good quality baby food with the milk mix, something like Baby Cat, at about the 6 weeks mark to transition them. After a while you can drop the milk and just feed the food.

Mum cats are how they usually get interested in food in the first place. Mum's also teach then how to use the tray so that can be a bit challenging without the mum around. Try to use something like paper based litter.

Hope that helps.

Well it appears that our friend wookster is but a drive-by member, but anyhoo...

I wanted to report that the damn cat made it. Not only that, it is enjoying the fun of the all-mysterious laser pointer. Not me, mind you.
