For sure!  That one on the left would be well on the way to taking over the world if not for the lack of opposable thumbs!

Faraday looks a bit miffed that he had to sit on the lower, non-preferred chair!

Faraday has a touch of bitchy resting face.   :-DD

Just like Ollie :)

Unfortunately she decided to go missing in action. The people from the shelter contacted us last week to inform us that Ollie is missing, so we can only hope that she found another place to stay and is happy there.

Luckily Ollie returned. A bit worse for wear, hungry and thirsty. See has been away for over 5 weeks, so might have been accidentally trapped in a barn or so. Hopefully she learned from it and won't wonder of anymore.

No pics but Maxim is very irritated with the fireworks popping in the hood. He's gone somewhere to sulk until they stop.  :(
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

Not one of mine, but just a random cat photo I tripped across today. Have you ever seen a cat being quite so dramatically exhausted?

Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

Thank heavens we only have fireworks on New Years Eve. All our cats, past and present, have passionately hated them.
If I knew everything I'd be starving because no-one could afford me.

As has Gilmore (who woke up when I went to take the picture)

Cat on an oscilloscope vs. Cat in an oscilloscope.

Starring a Tektronix 7854 and Thor.

What a nice (and unknown to me) plugin! Is that a purr-trigger-detector?

That's no surprise. Cats are something like biological heatsinks on four legs. They love warm places for this reason.  :D

seems like a great idea to buy some panels to close off unused equipment slots. Good for dust, appearance, cleaning and pets. Don't want your tektronix being sprayed..

Post a picture of a cat.......sorry but not the one of her you would want to see today.

Taniwha is no more, 17.5 yrs was the best she could do after quite quickly fading away over the last few weeks and to not eating at all over the last few days was laid to rest today.
Her first appearance here was in post #20:
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/post-a-picture-of-a-cat!/msg978530/#msg978530

Faithful chatty little shadow she was, nothing really special as cats go but special in her own way.

Bye bye the little meow.  :'(

The Taniwha was our younger sons cat, given to him by his aunty on his 15th birthday nearly 18 years ago and despite him having done 2 six month stints of harvest in the US and living away from home in his young adult years whenever he visited they both hunted one another out for a cuddle session.
Now our younger Larry Minor has his own partner and live on the property a little away from us with the eye dog Fly but there was something missing so they got a cat.

Meet Minx. (~4 mths)

Cute but unfortunately a little handled thing and a bit timid although she has a fascination with Fly annoying her ever waking moment so now her inside bed (next to Minx) is rarely used as Fly would rather be out on the porch to escape the persistent annoyance.
Minx is just starting to enjoy human company and if you can get her going you have quite a noisy little tractor purring in your hands.

Minx is a stunner - beautiful pattern in her coat!  Hope she warms up over time and becomes another faithful shadow.

I'm sure she will. She already follows Larry's Minors lady of the house around and camps with her on the sofa in the evenings and even in just the 10 days since I took that pic she is already getting to recognize me and not go scuttling off like she used to.
You can all be sure I'll pop up some more pics of her, maybe while Fly the eye dog is rounding her up.......she just can't help herself, that's what eye dogs are best at.  :)
