Nah, he's just sunbathing !
Had a couple of now departed cats that were so content with the world they lived in they would do that.

When we go on long walks(several kilometers) we take a pet stroller with us that Boomer can ride in if he wants. We also use it as a secure location if/when we encounter off leash dogs that aren't too friendly.
He has decided riding in it is no good though and much prefers to ride on top like a little king.

Mine has a really cute habit of falling over and stretching for attention and a belly rub.

She falls over so completely she normally squeaks as the air gets bumped out of her lungs.

I can't resist it and she knows it.  "Aww, did you fall over again?  Do you need a little belly rub."

Of course it's a trap and the belly rub turns into bunny kicks (sans claws) and then play fighting.

Maxim really, really wanted to help me so I let him up on the bench. He just laid down and was very still - didn't bother a thing.  :-+

I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

Ransom (now 12 weeks) enjoying the sun.

Ransom and Minnie are slowly getting used to each other, though there are still territorial disputes.  It seems Ransom is the more dominant one which is surprising giving he's half her size!

OK, so, I was always team dog, but...

Then the one in the box happened and the rest, well, I'm sure the pics speak for themselves.

6 month old F kitteh. About to go to vet for the fix.

Lectures aside about cat bacteria and their determination to pull out stitches, what's a expected amount of time we'll have to leave the cone on?

Vet promises to use stitches that won't need to be removed. Fall out after one week apparently.

What do you think?

When we took our two to be done (a boy and girl) we didn't use the cones at all. Right pain to get on, bigger pain to keep on, so we gave up and they were OK.

The Minx diaries

Grandad visited today and I was holed up on the old sofa under plastic sheets outside on our covered deck and nice and warm until dad asked my dog Fly where I was.
Darn that dog has a good nose as she led that grandad straight to my location despite being perfectly hidden.

Although the old fella was present I went inside to finish the remaining breakfast and heard dad spill the beans about how proud I was of a proper recent kill. Sorta puts one on a good mood to even withstand a few pats and scratches from grandad.

Of course I need show it off to receive much acclaim from grandad recognizing I was a proper big cat now.

Later guys.....
