Post a picture of your Network Setup

I found the fuse box pictures interesting... So lets show off some networking!

Well, I'm not sure how to do a "photo", as everything is distributed all over.  I have a cable modem, that feeds a Dell Optiplex as my web server, mail server, ftp, firewall, etc.  That feeds a 10/100/1000 24 port switch.  That feeds all the other computers, and also feeds an 8 port POE switch that connects to an intel Atom computer that runs Asterisk, and the POE switch powers 4 Snom voip phones.  I have a real POTS analog residential line and a Charter business cable modem line that feeds an analog line over to the telephony card in the Atom.  I also have about a dozen other computers that are attached to various gear around the shop, through the 24 port switch.

Middle part of the setup. There are 'distributed populations' elsewhere serviced by local switches.

The sticky out bits are torches. Seem to have a fetish for those (cheaper than test kit, mostly) and a metallic rack is an ideal place to let their magnets stick (there are more down the sides). The excuse is that they will be useful during a power cut, but it would take the length of time the UPS can hold things up to choose which one would be most appropriate.

Oh boy. This is going to get messy.   >:D

I would never trust a man who keeps a tidy network cabinet.

Thank you for the kind words. Yes the hat fits me,  in all companies where I worked I reworked their network cabinets to a proper all labeled, well routed cables with proper identification instead of the rat's nest it was when I arrived, out of my own time on the weekend.

It saved me a lot of time during the week when deploying new equipment and troubleshooting time during events.
