Title: Powering micro gap plasma zones with power transformers. (powering dead shorts)

This paper explains a perspective that goes against efficiency when designing a transformer but it does it with intent to regulate power for a load that can drop to very low impedances. Below operable range (plasma / arc/ dead short).  It seems it could have some advantages in plasma generation for micro gaps and can be tuned to were resistive loss is minimal.

2:20  Not sure if a graphite pencil  is the tool of choice when playing with high voltage stuff  :-DD

This transformer is floating and doesn't have a ref to earth. But Yea not the best tool lol... :popcorn:

why is it stainless?
