It's actually a pretty common thing to give ASICs nicknames.
So yeah, the Amiga had Paula, Fat Agnus, ... what where they thinking at Commodore?
Or is it because the nicknames are "chick" and "dude" instead of first names or very funky names (you realize what a "fat agnus" would be? )

Not sure that is worth even talking about, but hey. Who am I to judge.
