It's a shame this show is now and not in June when I'm going to be in Poland. It would be worth the trip to Warsaw.

One example:

Customer comes in off the street, not a business, has to pay VAT tax and wants a Fluke 233.

tequipment.net price - US $299 (plus 5% discount on web orders today)

grainger.com price - US $330.75 (probably the most expensive US source for anything!)

merazet.pl "promotional" price - US $505.17 (list price - US $597.10) incl. VAT

So almost $200 more expensive than the highest US price, on sale. Fuck that.
