TL;DR:

https://www.reship.com/ do not care about customers. I am looking for a new and better USA to World reshipper, any suggestions?

Long story:

https://www.reship.com/

shipped me a package which was damaged during shipping by UPS on 2nd October 2019. Of course I contacted UPS and sent all the evidences.
Claim case was open but nothings happened for months. I called up UPS and they told me on 28 November 2019 to contact the sender, since they are not dealing with the receiver.
Contacted support@reship.com, the day after "Bryttani" requested from me  an invoice showing the value of the damages. The invoce was sent back after 24 hours.
It was the 9 December 2019, after that absolute silence reship.com.

I can not be arsed to call them up at this pont, and I do not want to deal with them

anymore.

Sooooo I am open to find a better one, any suggestions? Thanks in advance guys.

PS: UPS rised my blood pressure too when they sent me an adjustment bill regarding the import taxes in December 2019. No sense, I had to pay about 12€ more.  :palm:

Yes, that's okay.

Nothing to do with sender/receiver; you are not their customer, you didn't pay $ directly

Of course I contacted UPS and sent all the evidences.
Well, you should contact first whom you paid for your shipment, not a courier.

Do you mean for UPS VAT service? Yes, they will charge (as everybody else) for this.

Yes, that's okay.
Why it is ok? Why not tell me immediately to contact the sender?

Correct, but is it possible for the receiver to pay directly? AFAIK 99% the customer is the sender.
Anyway this is not a complain point but just an information on what happen.

Well, you should contact first whom you paid for your shipment, not a courier.
And it would have change something? really?
If they don't care about customers....

Right I paid once, and two months later suprise suprise I had to pay again for some correction. Does UPS
does it to everybody else? If they send me a third bill what I do?

Sorry, I cannot recommend a reshipper, I am using UPS
Never used a reshipper? Sometime there are nice stuff in ebay US but the seller won't ship outside US.
You could have missed some good deal.

Since 2 Years I want some special First Aid Bags from the US.
The Company would ship it to Austria for 120$ (~2Kg Parcel) without Import Tax.  :scared:
I try to contact DHL, UPS, Fedex but non of them replay to my E-Mail.
I looking for some Shipping Company who:
a) Pick Up the Parcel from there Factory
b) Made a Valid Custom Declaration
c) Charge me the Fee for that
and is affordable?

Or is someone here from Durango, CO 81303 and would Pick that stuff Up and ship it?
Thanks

I've used myus once, can't say anything negative about them. Shipping time was fair, but since i ordered something for 4 bucks (yes, really) and paid 20ish dollars for shipping i can't judge how expensive they are regarding normal packages.

I am currently having something shipped from Seattle to me (germany) with parcelmonkey (https://www.parcelmonkey.de/en-de/), but they seem to be taking the scenic route as the parcel took a week to get from Seattle to NY. Shipping cost was fair at 50 bucks for a 7kg parcel, if you want to know the total shipping time i can PM you when the parcel arrives (it's still in NY).

https://www.shipito.com/

I use them a lot. Freight discounts due to bulk, parcel forwarding, consolidations, you get a 'US address' (choice of several locations), and they can do 'assisted purchase' (they do the purchase, making it seem like a domestic transaction to seller.) You can set your 'US address' with them as your primary ebay shipping address, which makes a lot of things a lot simpler.

You get photos of items (box exterior and unpacked item) when they receive it.

I only have one gripe with their service, but it's a bit complicated to explain and doesn't come up very often. Which reminds me, must make that improvement suggestion to them.

+1 also for Shipito. Used their service several times also for bigger 19"-equipment and with DHL Express-option to avoid customs-hassle.

Who make the correkt custom declaration?
I have to pay 10€ - 15€ for that to. When I order from ebay via there Shipping from US E-Bay declare it right and in summary i pay less.

I also have been using Shipito and haven't had any major problems.

Its still not all that cheep for big or heavy things, but is still reasonable enough for when you score a nice bargain to justify it.

Berni, have you tried a comparison, sending via Shipto (with a choice of carriers for the international leg, all giving bulk discounts and competing against each other for Shipito's business), vs having a similar package sent from seller direct to you, via say, Fedex?

You should try that. Then you'd know that "not all that cheap for big or heavy" is not the issue. You'll NEVER get that for cheap. The issue is not being sent bankrupt by shipping big heavy things. It's all relative.

What I really miss, is Australia's TNT. Their quotes for Shipito CA to Oz were almost always much less than any other carrier. Also their service, speed and tracking were superior. Made Fedex in particular look like clowns. So Fedex bought them out and shut them down. The company seems to have sort-of restarted in Oz (as a Fedex subsidiary?), but doesn't seem to do international freight any more.

Well yeah for Fedex or UPS or whatever the prices for mere mortals are ridiculous. Have certainly seen ebay sellers selecting UPS for international shipping and the automatically calculated shipping quote ending up being something completely ridiculous like >1000 USD. The USPS shipping tended to be reasonable (But tends to beat up your package even more due to it changing hands more times)

My preferred method when it comes to ebay is there own global shipping program. So far it has been the cheapest way to import a big rack mount boat anchor to me. And its understandable since they fill up there own cargo container, ship it over to Europe and then send it off from there with cheap local rates. Only problem is that the seller has to opt into this program(along with plenty of limitations as i understand) so a lot of the time i can't use it.

But when it comes to small light packages shipitto is indeed the cheapest option i have seen.

Found shipito only provided a shipping address but no phone number which both Amazon and evilbay req, managed to get around it using TextNow which provide a free USA number. Do anyone has solution for the Austria address ?

They do? I just looked in my ebay account details and my phone number doesn't appear anywhere.

Yes, the apps require me to put a phone entry (type all zero doesn’t works) before I can set it as default shipping address. Haven’t tried the web versions thought.
