--- Quote from: maginnovision on May 12, 2020, 12:41:24 am ---What is the problem with getting new gardeners? No, you'd rather try and get revenge. That's malicious. Oh and life not worth saving because they make noises some of you don't like? Absolutely ridiculous. --- End quote --- There is a cultural difference here. American's are often so passive and so lemming like that they will gladly go over the cliff with the herd. Get out and live in the world and you will realize you need to deal with shit when it happens otherwise you end up living in the shit. Now what you have here is a prick. How do you deal with a prick? You could talk to him. If he is still a prick you could encourage him not to be a prick? How you encourage him not to be a prick is the key. |

The interesting thing about loud car exhausts, is that they don't make a car peform any better in any practical sense. |

I actually remember that case. In general though there was a kind of collective brainwashing going which is why they were all jumping under the tables in case of a nuclear strike. The fact of the matter was London was far more of a target than the US ever was and that same shit never happened. You live there for a while and you realize why their political systems is so fucked up and why they get the presidents they do. It's not like its perfect anywhere but its like that movie tropic thunder "never go full retard". Full retard is a permanent state for a bunch of them. I worked in a place where it again was so fucked up that the only people who ever said it was fucked up were foreigners. Meanwhile one of the Americans had essentially had a stroke in his cube - next to all the other Americans, sat there literally drooling for a month before anyone had the decency to get him some help. Blinkers on - go home - don't know the neighbours - don't give a shit about the co-workers, just kiss ass and hope to make it through the next layoff. Sorry but reality sucks. |

I think the loud pipes are really just a cry for attention from a child in an adult body, an annoyance to everyone caused by some guy's lack of acknowledgement through puberty. The thing is, staying under the speed limit and keeping your lane saves lives; probably, a guy on a loud motorbike is actually less likely to reach old age. /my rant --- End quote --- I wonder how sad your life is if you can't let people enjoy their hobbies without calling them stuff like that. --- End quote --- Annoying others is a hobby? :-// :) |
