Raspberry PI as an FM transmitter
« on: December 10, 2012, 10:57:11 pm »
Very cool - playing music through an FM radio using a Raspberry PI with zero extra parts, only a short wire antenna.

YouTube video:

Thinking out loud...I wonder if it could be used for FSK on the 2 meter ham bands, could make a low cost APRS beacon?

Thats more like "Raspberry Pi as an FM jammer"! Since it has no filters it must be spewing out loads of harmonic interference at 200, 300, 400MHz etc.
Come and check my projects at http://www.dgkelectronics.com ! I also tweet as https://twitter.com/DGKelectronics
