Received element14 package with $0.016 LED
« on: March 22, 2016, 12:28:13 am »
About a month ago I ordered some 80 various jellybeans in different quantities.  Total around $100.    I was careful to select mostly parts on sale.   Many labeled "until stock exhausted-no returns"; many around/under a cent.   One part, a rectangular LED at $0.016 each.    There were 36 units left, so I splurged ;D and got them all.     Apparently when they filled the order, they found only 35 and the invoice came with "incomplete" status.    I assumed stock gone and that would be the end.   It crossed my mind to call and make sure it was cancelled, but forgot.   Last Friday I received an email/invoice for the missing $0.016 LED, as previously paid.   Today it arrived in a big envelope.

Now I have all 36 of them  :)

I was hoping it would arrive on a pallet.

They did this sort of thing with one of my orders, I knew the first item on the list had to come from the UK, but thought the rest were in stock locally.

parcel 1: $1.50 part shipped from local warehouse, with invoice noting everthing else was temporarly out of stock.
parcel 2: $7 part shipped from Singapore.
parcel 3: $15 part shipped from local warehouse.
parcel 4: $24 worth from the UK, still listed as "processing".

No wonder the minimum order required to get free postage for Australia is so high ($45 + 10% GST).
Plus they do 4 sets of transactions to withdraw money from my card.  |O
No option anywhere to only ship the order when it's complete.

For added fun, half the stuff on my wish list is discontinued or now has a min order quantity. So I had to make a new list before I could order anything.
