Rigol DS1102E - Latest firmware release?

Hello all - apologies if this is posted elsewhere - but I couldn't find it.

I have a genuine DS1102E 'scope, and I am quite happy with it.  I upgraded the firmware a couple of years or so back, and am wondering whether there have been any worthwhile upgrades since then. The utility page reports:

Model DS1102E

Software V 00.02.04.01.02
DSP 02.20

Hardversion03

I am not bothered about upgrading unless its worthwhile. Anybody got any ideas?

Incidentally, that hack to override the boot-up splash screen might be a useful security device - "if you are reading this, this instrument was stolen from..."  So, do we know how that was done?

There is no reason to update the firmware and every reason to not. The kater versions all have reports of screen flashing. Keep it as it is.
