Recycling electronic with specific purpose
« on: October 01, 2021, 06:44:55 pm »
I was wondering, if I teardown a broken CAT S61 phone to get it's thermal camera, will it work with lepton dev board?
(If this is true, by posting this, I'm shooting my own foot since all of them will be sold of immediately to other forum readers, if it's true :-DD)

Is there any other phone or electronic that you can teardown for very specific part, that otherwise world cost a whole lot more.
I do know, buying a Seagate external drive can give you an internal drive plus adapter board for a lot cheaper (same with other external drives, minutes the price difference)

Correction: apparently, S60 has lepton sensor. S61 has some other sensor

Lol...either Ebay is censoring the results (more likely), hard. or all of the s60 are sold out. I'm out of luck.
I guess it's VPN time. Damn EBAY.
