Hi all,
my LG SH4 wireless sound bar has just broken up on me.
It won't turn on, and I've just taken it apart to try and repair it.
The photo shows the component that burned out: FB 607
With the help of google I could find that it was a ferrite beads, but I can't determine the value.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Paul.

You could measure the nearby FB and get resistance, maybe inductance, package size should be 0805.
But realistically the best option here is to just short it out.
The only concern is that if something is shorted and caused the ferrite bead to burn, you'll need to figure out what that was and fix it.
So maybe do some resistance checks before and after the ferrite, voltage check, feed in voltage or use a DMM to measure the current going through the bead, etc.
