I made a resistor divider spreadsheet to help me while doing some design work.
What makes this one different and hopefully more useful:
1. You input the resistor values and trim pots you actually have on hand on another tab.
2. It takes into account a trim pot that is a part of R1 as per the schematic below
3. You choose a value of R2 and a desired trim percentage and it will choose trim pot value and R1 value based on the resistor values you enter (using a simple Vlookup type search)
4. It does error checking such as making sure you've met your desired trim percentage, and calculates worst case R1 and R2 resistor tolerances and tells you if you have enough R1trim to trim it back to the desired Vout.
