try that with 1.5eur/litre sometimes more

Which one do you mean SeanB. the Silvercrest or the Ebay one?

M. Andás, try 1.80eur/litre thats 6,81eur per gallon or 9 us dollars per gallon 

To make it compleet while we talk about energy meters, I pay € 0,2465 per kWh during day time and € 0,2264 per kWh late night/weekends, how much is it in other countrys?

The eBay one, the other uses proper high wattage resistors for the mains side connections.

As to electric prices I pay about 14c US per kWh, but it is slated to go up by at least 20% per annum for the next 5 years ( long story, contracts to massive smelters that pay 6c per kWh and no escalation for inflation ( you can bet there was an envelope passed there) along with having to pay "preferred" suppliers) at least.

0.167232733 Euros here on 1 of the utility companies, its pretty much here consider that the avg income is around 400eur/month
