RIGOL DS1052E Logic Analyser ?

Hi guys,
Does anyone know what is in the Logic Analyser adapter?
Is it possible that the DS1052E has all the circuitry for the 1052D and that the LA is just a breakout box or a buffer / isolation box?
Any thoughts?

No, it's an entirely separate daughter board that is not fitted to the non-LA units.
I think there are photos and info on the rc forum
