RIP Don Lancaster!  I was a young boy when I got a copy of your book "TV Typewriter" and pored through its pages.  I so wanted one but at the time it was way out of my league to build.

Sad to hear of Lancaster's passing, but the obituary certainly recounts a life well-lived.  He sounds like a good egg.

And the ads on that page are just plain hilarious.  ("Jail sucks!  I can help", next to some generic through-hole PCB traces.)

Yes, RIP..

He was quite eclectic persona, but his left field thinking was why I liked reading his articles...
It was reminder to always try to look at things from different standpoints...
All in all, unusual but good person...
