He was the best 'Technical' person on the Show. MythBusters was never the same after
they laid off those 3. Now even the original 2 are gone. Not the same. Just hope it was quick!  :-[
Diagonal of 1x1 square = Root-2. Ok.
Diagonal of 1x1x1 cube = Root-3 !!!  Beautiful !!

I don't like the post TMZ, but they have a story saying he was taken off life support after 2 surgeries over a few days:

It saddens people when those they look up to pass away, even though we did not know them personally. My favourite Sci-Fi actress is still around, at 95 years old and still going strong... June Lockhart :-+. And with pop music, I think we know we are getting old when Deborah Harry just turned 75 years old.

Life is a bit like a long train journey with many stops along the way. You don't know when you are going to exit, but along the way passengers come and go; and a few familiar faces stay with your entire journey. In my life, I met my great grandaunt who was born around 1870 and I will know people who will probably live until 2120. That's a span of 250 years!

It doesn't really sadden me, I didn't know the guy. It's a mildly scary reminder of our own mortality though and he did seem like a neat guy.

:o When you put numbers to it like that, it really sinks in.
If I'm lucky I've got another good 30 years in me before I start to lose the plot.
