RS Components and lost parcels
« on: May 10, 2019, 04:38:01 am »
Just wondering if anyone had experience in parcels from RS Components going missing and how long it takes to resolve the issue?

A $170 switch, was in stock in Sydney.  Something like dispatched April 23rd.  Still not arrived and tracking no update since 2nd May (Brisbane). I took into account the multiple public holidays for a slow trip before I started querying where it is.

I have been annoying the courier and RS components for a week but little seems to be happening, so wondering is this normal?

I've not ordered a lot from RS, but even the longest delivery time was inside a week.  Then again, I'm only a half hour drive from them in Sydney.

I'd be hassling the courier again.

Unless something is particularly huge (getting on for pallet sized), or sent via AusPost when they're having an off week I've never seen a package take a week to get to or from me (either in Melbourne or Sydney depending on when), and two-day or even overnight is pretty standard these days.

Extremely rare to see something go missing too, the vast majority of those that have done so have been international parcels.

If it was supposedly sent by a courier and not arrived after a week I'd be asking RS to either reship or refund.
