| Howardlong:
This vid on segmented character displays turned up on my Youtube recommendations today. As a result, I rapidly came to the conclusion that I have a long way to go in my life-long quest to become a certified Fixated Nerd. |

The content is solid nerd entertainment and education, and as a side point the production standard is way above what I could ever hope to achieve. |

This guy has me curious, about video production, and what kind of hours this video took, a comprehensive and artistic summary, obviously. What kinds of image processing, associated 'team', and video production? Like, to superimpose a hypothetical display fragment, over an existing Casio watch, etc. Almost makes me forget, original topic. But, topic itself, especially the historic telegraph links, is a 10.0 in my opinion. Straight up perfect. |

FYI, watch his 3 part series on LCDs. It’s also fascinating. |
