Should be fixed now. Several extra paths needed changing in the settings.

Don't know if it's related to the move, But i am using the Google Chrome 8 and got a messed up header on your main page. But seems to of gone now. Guess the issue is being fixed as I took a screenshot of it. Don't know if it's a cache issue on either end though.

Seems to be working fine here but not seeing all the avatars yet (I think...). Also, as I keep the forum open in a tab, the first thing I did was try to get to the main forum page this morning (not refreshed since 8 hours ago or so). I got a server not found error with a strange, improperly formatted address (Firefox can't find the server at www.eevforum.comindex.php.) which made me think the forum had been hacked. It was only after reading Dave's tweets that I figured things out.

I just went back to eevblog.com and got the links from there.

Same problem as PetrosA when using a link from an email notification (that something has changed in a forum topic).

ex.: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=553.new;topicseen#new
Redirecting to www.eevforum.comindex.php... (without the "/" before index).

Thanks.

Ah hah, Now I get it. I don't do any of this tweet stuff, mostly in IRC when sites start pulling funny stuff/go down, but that's not how everyone rolls. I didn't know the URL had changed. Probably explained why I had to log in again. I thought you were moving the whole website across.

All photo attachments all the jpg ones I have seen so far seem corrupted. for example: http://www.eevforum.com/index.php?topic=1491.msg19776#msg19776 I get a broken image link, download the file and can't open it. Hex editor shows it has what might EXIF (given that link says ADOBE photoshop in it), but I have now idea how JPEG is constructed. My desktop nor laptop can view it.

Shit, it looks like my FTP program is setup to AUTO file mode may convert files without known extensions.
All the forum attachments don't have extensions, so I think this is what has happened to images.

Will try and fix now...

Probably converted between binary and text mode. If you did it from a Unix or derivative, no problem (there's no difference between binary and text files there). If you did it from a Mac (pre OS X) or Windows, most likely every ASCII LF got changed to CR or CR LF sequences. And unfortunately there's no easy way back, because you don't know if a CR was really an LF or a CR in the previous version.

Yep, Windows desktop and linux file server.
The attachments got modified.
Now using binary mode and transfer in progress...
avatars and images are starting re-appear...
