The weird thing is what you would refer to as irish travellers are different to the travellers that we get over here. They're quite easy to tell apart if you've had any dealings with them and the uk irish (!?) travellers would be far more dangerous imo.

They were indeed. The Boer war era, The idea was to put all the Boers 9complete with families) in one or two places in order to keep control of them and more importantly the diamond and gold mines.
