Crikey that is early, it's ok but a bit dated, very good for the basic principles

My wife does things on impulse, you have to be careful what you say to her, as she never forgets, sees it , that it bought.
I think its a good basic book, for reference and if your not sure about something , I must admit I was leant a copy once and I did enjoy it. I'm off her Christmas radar now, which is good, and it's something I 'd like for a change, no more room in the sock draw :)

Excellent book :).

I got it a few years ago. Well worth the £40 or so that it cost.

Cricky she got this one really cheap  at £25.00p, I love books and especially old ones that some one else has learned from, the person who owned this one left a note in the tab, saying" he hopes the next owner gets as much pleasure from this wonderful book as he did", he has now got a degree in electronic engineering, I won't get that far that's for sure , but I will get some kind of qualifications in Basic electronics, which will be good for me :)

Get the Student Manual as well.  Same authors.  Lots of supplementary material, in depth explanations, and hands on experiments.
The text book is great.  The combo is great squared!

Oh, the 3rd edition is supposed to be new material, not an enhanced 2nd edition.  So you need to start with the 2nd edition anyway :)
