Bluetooth SIG:

"...the Bluetooth SIG is taking steps to update Bluetooth specifications to remove inappropriate terminology,
including the use of Master/Slave and White List/Black List. We are committed to making this important change
and have already started the process. From now on all new and updated specifications will use more appropriate
anguage, including several recently adopted specifications."

It must be awful to be able to be triggered by simple words.

I just don't see why pandering to them helps anyone.

As I understand it, all statements are now considered offensive, sexist and racist by default. Please submit your written apology to the nearest rabid SJW.

I suppose they will be renaming Bluetooth, as the name is derived from the then King of Denmark Harald Bluetooth, this is unfairly appropriating Danish culture and thus forth we will call the technology "Wireless Automated Nano Kinetic Electronic Radio Technology"

BLM are a truley racist bunch. Everyone knows they hate whites, but they also hate the Chinese, because a certain Chinese word sounds like nigger and they have no intention of sorting out the misunderstanding.

EDIT:
Just to be clear, BLM don't appear to be directly involved with the incident described below, but they haven't condemned it, which is their duty as an anti-racist organisation. BLM state that those who stand by and do nothing about racism, might as be racist themselves. If they really mean that, they would should stand up for the Chinese, but their silence on this issue speaks volumes about what they really think about the Chinese.

Professor Greg Patton at the University of Southern California (USC) was telling students in a communications lecture last month about filler, or pause words, such as 'err', 'umm' or 'you know' in English.

Footage of his lecture, which has now gone viral, shows Prof Patton saying: "In China, the common pause word is 'that, that, that'. So in China, it might be na-ge, na-ge, na-ge."

Enunciated, na-ge sounds like the N-word, which led several of the professor's students to complain to the university. Responding to the complaint, the dean of the university, Geoffrey Garrett, told students that Prof Patton would no longer be teaching the course.

I'm anti-racist, which is why I don't support BLM, which stands for Burn, Loot, Murder, as it's what they seem to do most of the time. I stand up against racism against blacks, whites, Chinese, Hispanics etc. I've yet to see BLM do a single positive thing to benefit peope of any race. All they've done is promote identity politics and division. They are part of the problem, rather than the solution.

That story has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter or the thread subject. Your post is just slander and name calling.

Considering that already several people have been murdered on the streets by activists on top of the mostly peaceful burning of property I think you just do not like to live in the real world.
As easy as paint by number.

Fair point, BLM don't seem to be involved with that university incident and I shouldn't have implied that was the case, post edited, but their silence on the issue is deafening. They should be jumping up and down, calling for the lecturer to be reinstated, but they don't seem to have any intention of rectifying these sorts of misunderstandings.

EDIT:
As far as being on topic is concerned: I dispute that, as it's groups such as BLM who push this kind of crap. Please enlighten me: what have BLM actually done to improve the lives of African-Americans? How is changing words they find triggering going to help anyone?

Yes, Burn, Loot, Murder!
