i am just starting my electronics/robotics hobby, and i'm looking to meet people who build robots,
especially small ones, are there any on this forum?

also:

i been looking for an active BEAM community, and outside of a newsgroup (i hate those) everything seems to be
as dead as good taste.
so, how do u feel about the state of hobby robotics present and future?
what are people doing with their robot hobby these days, and where do you think it will go from here?
