EEVblog:
In a shameless attempt to get more hits and viewers I've submitted the Rigol Hack to Slashdot:
http://slashdot.org/submission/1208312/Serial-port-command-hack-for-Rigol-Oscilloscope
Is anyone in a position to help approve stuff on Slashdot by any chance?
I've tried a few times times before and all have been rejected :(
Thanks.
Dave.

I liken it to Tax, it's a good problem to have!

Slashdot is crowd-sourced. There's a firehose channel where you can rate things if you are a member. I have excellent karma at Slashdot but I don't think I (nor anyone here) am in a position to help you with that because of the nature of the beast. Only an editor could do that for you, I think.
Try other sites, like reddit, delicious and digg for better luck. Stumbleupon draws lots of hits for niche users, I'll tag it in electronics engineering for you.
edit: I take that back.. I still can't view the page because of the error it throws, so I can't grab a link for it.

Grr, that message is getting annoying, but worked for my half an hour ago!
You can still right click and copy/paste the link:

A get a fair few hits from Stumbleupon, so I'm on there somewhere.
Thanks
Dave.
