| So, I got to 1000! |

This is my 1000th post. I registered about five years ago, just as a way to keep better track of threads I was interested in. But then, I started with some tentative posts (75% in the Microcontrollers section, most of the rest in the Beginners one). I rarely start threads, I prefer helping others and the good feedback kept me going - 310 thanks on 1000 posts, not bad I would say! In full honesty, if, at the time, someone had come and told me "you'll be here in five years, with an average of a post every other day" I'd have probably laughed them away. I've learnt countless things here, and Dave's videos, but mostly this forum rekindled the love for tinkering with electronics (mostly MCUs) that had somehow dwindled in the years. So, just a big thank to all the members here! |

Just looking at the statistics page. I think they're under the Eastern Australian time zone, as most of my posts are at UK night time. I would have thought it would go by the user's time zone, but it doesn't. |

I just had a look at my stats page - OMG.... Total Time Spent Online: 153 days, 16 hours and 38 minutes. :palm: |

Well, this calls for a celebration! |

Congratulations! I have not looked at my stats....but I can't say time spent here has ever been a waste of time. I've learned so much from this forum, even when not learning I enjoy the humor and banter. It's thanks to Dave and the amazing moderators who keep this a great place. Here's to celebrating your 2000th post! |
