Why are you asking this here? There are places, that are literally one google search away (Like here: http://www.betterbybicycle.com/2014/09/how-accurate-are-google-maps-cycling.html) that tell you this exact info.

I imagine google maps will pick an average bike speed for the initial ETA then recalculate that number as you start to move. For fun set the destination for Hawaii but be clear that there must not be any boats. If it is anything like my GPS it will keep it busy for the longest time before it gives up saying sorry can not do.

I'd say google is quite accurate on the distance number.

For speed just do the math to see what number they used: 29 km / 95 min * 60 min/ 1 hour = 18.3 km/h. Is that a reasonable approximation of how fast you bike? If not, do the math in the other direction: 29 km / 18.3 km/h = 1.58 hours, except change the speed to your speed.

If you were walking at 5 km/h instead of riding, it would be 29/5 = 5.8 hours.

If you're math challenged, I'm sorry.

29km is about 18 miles. I can do 18 miles in approximately an hour and a half, so I'd say they're about right, but it will depend on the bike, your fitness, and how many hills there are.

I live at the top of a hill, so usually getting back from somewhere takes considerably longer than getting there.
