Owon 25/60Mhz oscilloscopes

Hi,  anybody play with Owon oscilloscopes? Can be modded to a higher BW? Thx

I dont reccomend the 25 MHz variant to anibody since the 60 MHz is quite close in price. However it depends on your needs.

The older Owon PDS series, to which you are presumably referring, is clearly inferior to other low-cost scopes like the Rigol DS1052E. This is why the Rigol is so popular, because it was the first affordable scope that didn't suck (as much). Reports about the Owon PDS series are that it has a nasty passive LCD, cheap mechanical build quality and felt like a cheap toy in general. I haven't felt the need to examine one in person, but the SDS series is reported to be significantly better. I would either save the money for a better DSO or buy an analog scope for much less.

I believe the SDS series is not available in the 25 MHz range?

The only toy scope i want to get for fun is the LUCK-3 but cant find original manufacturer or place that sells it
