Sod your work bench, what can you see from your window!
matseng:
These are my views. First a shot from what I see from one of my desks at my home-lab in a suburb to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Then two pics from my condo at the "edge" of downtown Bangkok, luckily my view is westwards
giving me a clear skyline, facing east I'd just stare into some buildings that are are taller than my 39&40th floor unit. :-)
Dinsdale:
The farmer left the near field fallow this spring. Usually has wheat or corn -- makes a better picture. But this is the first time this year you can see this without the massive ponds everywhere.
tonyarkles:
A view from today's "bench"
The bench is in the basement, so when I have work to do that doesn't require soldering/scoping, I try to do it outside if possible. Helps keep the skin from being shockingly bright and helps keep the brain a little happier about the long hours.

Couldn't agree more. Combats a lot of the bad things in life.
Today's office (Kew Gardens, London)...
£62 a year for outdoor office space 15 minutes walk away from where I live :)
Only thing you have to worry about is bird shit.
calexanian:
You have a window? My office has no window :-\
