Software for car electric diagrams in boobks.
« on: May 10, 2015, 09:25:45 am »
I was reading a book for the electric systems in a car. It has some well made electric diagrams with realistic parts, not only electric symbols. This is very very good for teaching purposes.

Does anyone know any CAD-like software that can be used to produce such drawings? Are those drawings hand made with a drawig software?

I am not aware of any such special application software.
When I needed these kinds of drawings, I made them all myself in Corel Draw

These appear to be pre-drawn symbols, i've heard of people using software like visio to do them in the past, its not likely to be a true cad package, more a publishing package or similar. having to do scada screens in the past, I had to draw up the symbols in paint, then import them into the package to layout as i wished, drawing lines between the symbols to reflect the connections,
