some big companies actually do care
« on: January 02, 2013, 06:21:49 pm »
A while back I bought a Black*Star 3210 bench multimeter, to go with my black star set up here,I needed a manual, on here I was advised to get in contact with Thurlby Thander, who bought out black*star. One email just asking them if they have any info on it, they sent me a pdf scanned copy of the manual, how good is that.  So if Tristan from Thanders looks at this Thank You and for all the help on here must not be forgotten.

Similar experience here with them.
A couple of days ago I emailed them asking for a TSX power supply calibration info and Tristan emailed me the service manual of the unit.
Thank you Tristan an TTi.

Perhaps they inherited something from Blackstar.
I remember buying a frequency counter from Blackstar shortly after the company started. It had a fault with the LED multiplexing. Sent it back and received a telephone call from Mr Black apologising for a short delay in returning it while they made a design change.
