Post by: karasu74 on November 11, 2015, 12:02:34 pm
I have been looking for the manual for the Sorensen QHS40-5 power supply on the internet but could not find anything.

I would appreciate if someone who has it, if you could send it to me.

Thanks.

Did you get any responses? I just picked one of these up at a flea market. I may have slightly overpaid, but it seems to work. Some of the capacitors look a bit leaky and I will replace those. The voltage goes up and down with the switch is on the front, and seems pretty close. I don't have a precise meter to check. The main problem seems to be that the pilot light doesn't light up. It looks like a bit of an odd arrangement, possibly in series with the primary of the power transformer. I could be wrong on that. Does anyone know what type of pilot light that might be?
