Looking for a good quality cable to use on an iPod/IPhone dock type device. 30 pin docking connector one one end, flying leads (or whatever) on the other end.  I need the USB pins (power and data) and the audio line outputs pinned through.  USB only cables are easy to get,  but harder to find when I need the audio lines too.

Alternatively, anyone know a source for a DIY installable 30 pin plug i can install on my own cable that will take fairly heavy use and doesn't need $$$ special tooling to install?

Yeah, I saw that one. No shielding, no strain relief, looks like total garbage.

It worked great for me.  If you can't figure out your own shielding and strain relief, then you are limited to waiting for others to do it for you.  Good luck with that.
