In the early 2010s, when the corrupt Brazilian government decided to shove a new "standard" for outlets and plugs down the throat of the population, several similar memes were created on how to re-use the old outlets with the new junk. The best one is below:



For context: the new Brazilian standard is a variation of the IEC 60906-1 (also the "almost" swiss standard) that was designed to have a pin separation just slightly wider to be 100% incompatible with the existing plugs and outlets.
